Eat Less Steak! Why I Love Chick-fil-A
We are huge Chick-fil-A fans! “Eat Mor Chiken”, a fast food slogan we know well in this family and I’m not afraid to admit it. If you don’t love Chick-Fil-A, I’m not sure if we could ever hang out. Okay, we could hang out but lunch dates would be out!I love everything about them from their morals to their efficient ways of making your wait time less and your dining experience wonderful. They have the friendliest staff (from the youngest to oldest employees!), the best menu, awesome Kids Days, family events, clean bathrooms and so much more! Did I mention the clean bathrooms? We rarely go to other fast food restaurants because we have come to love the level of service we get at Chick-fil-A.
Are You Crafty? Five Fun and Simple Fall Crafts
I considered myself pretty crafty until my daughter came along and set me straight. Don’t get me wrong, she doesn’t come out and tell me I’m not good. It has just become somewhat apparent.
She was out crafting me by three, creating her own crafts by four, and out sewing me by six. She even mends her own stuffed animals… embarrassing! If I could punish her for being better at crafts I just might do it. Since that would be frowned upon I just keep pinning and hoping to find a winner. (Disclaimer, no children were punished during the composing of this post 😉 ) Sigh… She really should have her own Pinterest page but she is too young of course, so I scour the pages for her trying to find the very best creations. With fall being one of our very favorite seasons we made sure we had more than enough crafts lined up. So I decided to share our top five in no particular order.
Sometimes I Fail At Life
Being a mom means loving unconditionally, giving lots of hugs, kissing boo-boos, making meals, picking up toys, paying for college, meeting girlfriends/boyfriends and so much more. I do not think I knew what I was in for when I signed up for this never ending 27+ hour a day job. Did you?!?
I did not know what I was in for but I would sign up for it all over again without hesitation. That is not to say that I don’t hide under the covers some days or cry in the shower from time to time. But yep, I would sign up for this gig over and over again. I love being a mom! I consider it an honor and I am so proud of the two people that I brought into this world. I love them so much. Many of my finest moments have been as a mom (some of my not so wonderful moments too, oops).

Game On!
Do you love games nights? Me too! I love getting together with my family and friends to play games, have a drink, and just hang out. We usually try and get together about once a month and take turns hosting. This is great because I don’t always have to be the one with a clean house!
My Name is Deanna and I am a “Glamper”
I was one of those lucky kids that grew up taking road trips and going camping. I loved it! Sometimes my dad would just wake us up and we would hit the road! Don’t worry, we weren’t running from the law. My dad is just the adventurous hippy type. Some of my very best memories as a kid are these trips we used to take. We didn’t always have a destination but we always had fun! We slept in tents, our car and sometimes questionable motels. It was amazing! I got to see and learn so many amazing things as a kid because of these spontaneous trips.

What is your favorite way to paint? My daughter is a self proclaimed artist so, as you can imagine, Pinterest and I are well acquainted. I am constantly pinning fun art projects and crazy craft ideas. We have an entire room devoted to craft supplies!
