Today is National Blueberry Popsicle Day. We love blueberries around this house so we were very excited to whip up some blueberry Popsicles. We decided to use Greek yogurt, milk, frozen blueberries and honey in ours.
We whipped it all up in the Vitamix and then poured it into Dixie cups, popped a craft stick in and put them in the freezer for a few hours. My daughter even had one as a small smoothie before we froze them.
Here is the recipe:
1 cup of milk
1 cup of vanilla Greek yogurt
1 cup frozen blueberries
2 tablespoons honey
- Blend in a high speed blender until smooth.
- Pour equal amounts into Dixie cups.
- Put craft stick in.
- Freeze for two hours.
- Send kids outside to enjoy (they are messy!).
