Easter is such a wonderful holiday and it is my daughter’s favorite holiday. She loves everything about Easter. Her favorite traditions are making Resurrection Rolls, dressing fancy, completing our Resurrection Eggs and (of course) coloring Easter Eggs.

Celebrating Saint Patrick

Saint Patrick’s Day is filled with parades, shamrocks, green, corned beef cabbage and many other fun traditions. What is Saint Patrick’s Day really about? My daughter will often ask me what holidays are really about. She wants to know what she is celebrating. This not only makes me proud, but forces me to investigate and learn as well.

Thanksgiving on Thursday Book Study

My Daughter and I recently read Thanksgiving on Thursday by Mary Pope Osborne. I have been trying to get her to read the Magic Tree House series for quite sometime but she has been against it. She can be stubborn that way. I decided to download one on my iPad and trick her.
