Unwavering Friendship
Lessons From Wisteria Lane

On the recommendation of a friend I recently started watching the women of Wisteria Lane. That’s right, those Desperate Housewives. I love them! I love them not only for their crazy antics and endless mysteries but, most of all, for their unwavering friendship.

Say No to Snow People
25 Activities for Summer Time Fun

Summer vacation is here for many and just around the corner for others. I am going to be first in line for all of the summer fun! My flip-flops are all lined up and ready to go. Don’t get me wrong, I love the other seasons too. The problem is, this year, old man winter has over-stayed his welcome. Just a few weeks ago I was sledding and building snow people. I am saying no to snow people…at least until October or November. I’m ready for fresh cut grass, sidewalk chalk, bubbles, the sound of birds in my backyard and swimming in the pool.

I want her to always know where she is going and to be able to find her way back to me too! I love the idea of learning through play, so I thought this would be the perfect way to begin our journey on U.S. geography. Here are some of the things we have been using and loving!
