I love reading with my daughter. It is especially fun since she is reading and can buddy read with me. I love hearing her read. It warms my heart. She loves going to the library to pick out books and gets even more excited about it when there is a holiday approaching.

7 Gift Ideas Kids Will Love but Not Think to Ask For

Has your child been making a list and checking it twice? I know mine like to circle all of their favorite things in the endless catalogs we get in the mail. Seriously, where do all of those catalogs come from? I don’t have anything against toys but our playroom is already busting at the seams with colorful fun. I’m pretty sure the toys multiply while we are sleeping at night.

Keeping up With the Neighbors
Learning About Friendship and Being a Great Neighbor

Saying I have a flair for the dramatic is not an exaggeration. As a matter of fact, if you look up flair for dramatic, you may find a picture of none other than yours truly. I have been known to celebrate birthday weeks and months, decorate for fall as soon as August ends, get a little carried away with parties and play dates and put bows on my daughter that are bigger than her entire head.

Top 6 Children’s Books For This Halloween Season

I love Halloween and everything that goes with it. We have so much fun decorating, singing the songs and reading the books. The books are so much fun! We had so much fun reading we want to share a list of our top six favorite books. It has been really hard to narrow it down, but here are the top six books my daughter really loves this Halloween season.
