The Teal Pumpkin Project
Halloween Lesson Plan on Allergies and Food Safety

What do you think about the Teal Pumpkin Project? We participated in the Teal Pumpkin Project last year and will be participating again this year. This project was started by FARE in 2014 to create a safer Halloween for all kids, including those with food allergies. This project was inspired by Food Allergy Community of East Tennessee (FACET). tealpumpkin1 Continue reading

I love Halloween and everything that goes with it. We have so much fun decorating, singing the songs and reading the books. The books are so much fun! We had so much fun reading we want to share a list of our top six favorite books. It has been really hard to narrow it down, but here are the top six books my daughter really loves this Halloween season.

Bubbling Over With Excitement
Fall STEM Activity

Fall is officially here and I am so excited about all the fun ahead. The air is feeling crisp, the leaves are changing, EVERYONE is serving pumpkin this and pumpkin that… and I am feeling pretty happy. I always over-plan this time of year! I even have had my daughter’s Halloween costume for a few weeks now. So it is not a huge surprise that my family is making our way to the pumpkin patch this weekend. Our outfits are planned and I even have some ideas in mind for a few of the pumpkins we will be getting. bubblingpumpkins1 Continue reading
